I went food shopping yesterday with my toddler and was on the phone with my wife, didn’t even think about what I was doing and walked into the store without my mask. A guy working deli, stopped me and told me to put a mask on. I was mortified that I forgot, just got distracted. When I reentered (masked) I found the manager and told her how happy I was that that worker was brave enough to confront me and he did a good job. She thanked me and started telling me how they get into almost daily confrontations with people pissed off about their mask requirement. Said she had to call the cops a couple of times. It’s fucking gross.

First, the good news: In 24 states, the number of new coronavirus cases decreased this past week compared to the previous week. Now, the bad news: In many of those states, testing has also decreased. I guess fuck it, I'm moving in a couple days to an even more rural area so I probably won't be around people until the holidays, but I just worry about my parents, sisters, and cousins who are teachers, because they're trying so hard to follow all the new regulations and have done a good job of keeping the virus out of our schools, but all these dumb fuck parents going to the football games and are going to be the reason for schools getting shut down if it happens.
