Fucking New Jersey. I have a bunch of extended family up there and they've been bitching about masks and lock down since February. They all went quiet for a few months then I found out later that at least 6 of them caught COVID. Luckily none of them died, but months later they still feel like shit. Now their excuse for not wearing a mask is "I already had it so I'm immune" even though we're not sure that immunity is guaranteed.

That being said, I'm so sick of the approach taken to this by a lot of media. You've got the right wing media pretending this whole crisis is in the rearview mirror, which is obviously just flat out retarded when we've still got ~800 people dying every day and millions of people are still out of work. But this left wing media is being disingenuous as well, it's just harder to spot. First, the good news: In 24 states, the number of new coronavirus cases decreased this past week compared to the previous week. Now, the bad news: In many of those states, testing has also decreased. Stores of all kinds don't / won't enforce (understandably) and every time I have ridden with my son to just get out of the house at least half if not 3/4 of the people going in and out of these stores are maskless. Even places like our local Walmart who do enforce (at least at the door) my son has said over half either take masks completely off or push them down. My son and I are the only ones in our neighborhood who wear masks and that includes my oldest daughter and three of my grandchildren not wearing them unless forced (school and work).  Buy it:  Cute Ruth Bader Ginsburg I Dissent Shirt
