I went trick or treating until senior year of high school. Not as much as when I was younger, but I would go with a kid I babysat for one or two streets. Your daughter can still go next year, especially since it will be a do-over of this year! I saw a post about someone’s Hallowe’en set up where there was a downward slanted pvc pipe from their front door to a closed gate by the sidewalk that would eject the treat onto a plate or something. Kinda neat, but seems like it would be safe only if everyone participating did something like that and you brought along lots of hand sanitizer. And everyone wore masks, obviously. I wonder if anyone would dress up like Bane...

That being said, I'm so sick of the approach taken to this by a lot of media. You've got the right wing media pretending this whole crisis is in the rearview mirror, which is obviously just flat out retarded when we've still got ~800 people dying every day and millions of people are still out of work. But this left wing media is being disingenuous as well, it's just harder to spot. First, the good news: In 24 states, the number of new coronavirus cases decreased this past week compared to the previous week. Now, the bad news: In many of those states, testing has also decreased. I've basically lost faith in humanity and hate everyone as a result of this year. I've also deleted any way to contact about 20 now former friends and family for how they've acted. I've come to view how people act during this as a litmus test for their IQ and compassion. You fail I no longer care about you at all. OMG. I hear you!! I have lost so many friends and family members over simple masking. I just don't get what their problem is. But, to me it's them saying "F- you. I don't care enough about you to wear one."
