I've always gotten into planning/throwing Halloween parties (for 'grownups') and seeing everyone show up for uniquely good times. What a pisser that this year, 10.31 actually falls on a Saturday *and* coincides with a full moon. Even with masks and costumes, my GF and I won't be hosting a party this year. We're still discussing the logistics of if there could be some way to at least accommodate the trick or treat kids, but this will likely be the *first* year without Jack o' lanterns on our porch, vintage Beistle decorations and our extensive playlist of Halloween-themed hard rock blasting out.

You've got the right wing media pretending this whole crisis is in the rearview mirror, which is obviously just flat out retarded when we've still got ~800 people dying every day and millions of people are still out of work. But this left wing media is being disingenuous as well, it's just harder to spot. First, the good news: In 24 states, the number of new coronavirus cases decreased this past week compared to the previous week. Now, the bad news: In many of those states, testing has also decreased. I guess fuck it, I'm moving in a couple days to an even more rural area so I probably won't be around people until the holidays, but I just worry about my parents, sisters, and cousins who are teachers, because they're trying so hard to follow all the new regulations and have done a good job of keeping the virus out of our schools, but all these dumb fuck parents going to the football games and are going to be the reason for schools getting shut down if it happens.
