He will call anyone out if he sees their mask isn’t on or is on incorrectly. Like not directly to their face, but will tattle on them to me/my husband in a super loud voice. It’s always loud enough for the person to hear, and I’ll usually get a nasty look from them as they shuffle away. Since I'm a bus driver it's either "I'll have to ask you to step off if you don't cover properly" or "Think about the others, it's for your, their and my safety" or my fav, in remembrance of Bioshock "would you kindly wear your mask the right way?“

I've always gotten into planning/throwing Halloween parties (for 'grownups') and seeing everyone show up for uniquely good times. What a pisser that this year, 10.31 actually falls on a Saturday *and* coincides with a full moon. Even with masks and costumes, my GF and I won't be hosting a party this year. We're still discussing the logistics of if there could be some way to at least accommodate the trick or treat kids, but this will likely be the *first* year without Jack o' lanterns on our porch, vintage Beistle decorations and our extensive playlist of Halloween-themed hard rock blasting out. Such a simple sentiment but it absolutely broke my heart to see it written out. I will never understand the people out there saying, "it only kills 1%". Even if their statements were true, do those lives not matter? We don't all have the privilege of saving lives everyday but in this moment we can wear a face mask and do just that. I will continue to stay home and only go out for esssntials because I refuse to be part of the chain that has killed 294,000 Americans and almost 1,000,000 people worldwide. Same. Everything is so politicized here. People can get away with long term problems such as global warming or inconsequential stuff like flat earth, but if you try it on a short term serious problem like Corona, then you’ll see growing deaths. Smart people know what they don’t know and try to learn. Dumb people think they’re smarter than everyone else and have blind belief. I don't think intelligence is as much a problem as the lack of empathy is. You can be dumb as hell, but if you care about people you are going to take precautions regardless.
