People who walk around with their mask not covering their nose know they're doing it. (And are most likely looking to be confronted ) And probably don't care what you say. And will push their views on you as well. Unless it's at a place you work. Walk away and mind your own business. I just wear a mask with a filter, keep my distance and leave it alone. I'm not going to give it to them or get it from them if I can help it. Besides, a potential confrontation would only increase the chance of direct contact.

I've always gotten into planning/throwing Halloween parties (for 'grownups') and seeing everyone show up for uniquely good times. What a pisser that this year, 10.31 actually falls on a Saturday *and* coincides with a full moon. Even with masks and costumes, my GF and I won't be hosting a party this year. We're still discussing the logistics of if there could be some way to at least accommodate the trick or treat kids, but this will likely be the *first* year without Jack o' lanterns on our porch, vintage Beistle decorations and our extensive playlist of Halloween-themed hard rock blasting out. Such a simple sentiment but it absolutely broke my heart to see it written out. I will never understand the people out there saying, "it only kills 1%". Even if their statements were true, do those lives not matter? We don't all have the privilege of saving lives everyday but in this moment we can wear a face mask and do just that. I will continue to stay home and only go out for esssntials because I refuse to be part of the chain that has killed 294,000 Americans and almost 1,000,000 people worldwide. Same. Everything is so politicized here. People can get away with long term problems such as global warming or inconsequential stuff like flat earth, but if you try it on a short term serious problem like Corona, then you’ll see growing deaths. Smart people know what they don’t know and try to learn. Dumb people think they’re smarter than everyone else and have blind belief. I don't think intelligence is as much a problem as the lack of empathy is. You can be dumb as hell, but if you care about people you are going to take precautions regardless.
